Chinese new year food for kids made easy!

For your kids Chinese new year party you don't even have to cook!  Simply call your local Chinese store and grab a few orders for the party.  When the order arrives jazz up the presentation of food with your best

• Casserole dishes
• Serving trays
• Glass Bowls and
• Silverware

If your have time to spare you can make your own:

• Chicken fried rice
• Chicken wings
• Egg rolls and
• Chicken balls

Or you can simply buy the ready made Chinese food at your local grocery store.  These ready made foods can be found in the frozen area.  Put them in the oven and within an hour all the food is ready.

To add to the table setting you can make your own table place cards with fortune cookies.  You can do this buy printing out your guest list, cutting them in small sizes.  Then stick the name of each child half way inside the cookie, just enough where the child can see their name!  Its fun, easy and the kids will love it!

For some tasty appetizers you can put out:

• Tasty shrimp with sauce
• Wings
• Cheese platters or
• Noodles

And for the beverages I made a homemade Ice Tea for the kids and served green tea for the adult guests!  It was perfect and quite relaxing for everyone!
