If you want the same idea but your child doesn't want a sandal shape, that's ok! You can simply make the shape of a beach ball, sand pale, or a starfish. The choice is yours! But I bet your guests will love the uniqueness and exciting look of the sandal. Type: Easy and fun! Recommended age level: 7 and up Supplies: - Cardstock paper
- Designer or scrapbook paper
- Wired ribbon to match the choice of paper
- Hole puncher
- Glue gun or clear tape
- Glue
- Scissors
- Glitter pen (your choice of color)
What to do: - Whether left or right, take your card stock paper and designer paper and cut the shape of a flip flop sandal. A perfect size would be a size 8. This way all your information will fit on it perfectly
- The cardstock is basically used for strength, here you will glue the designer paper to the cardstock paper
- Then you will be punching 3 hole total in the sandal. 1 hole on the top of the sandal in the middle. Basically where the sandal goes between your toes when wearing flip flops
- The other 2 hole will go beside the big toe area and baby toe area
- Now those are done, next take your 8" colored wired ribbon and fold in in half, making a "V" shape
- Take the middle of the ribbon and put it through the middle whole, and the other ends through the other holes. Secure the ribbons on the back sides with clear tape or a glue gun
- Now for the final touches, add on the foot area, fill in your location, time, date and RSVP information. Waalaa! a beautiful invitation ready to go!
Backyard Camping Invitation A backyard camping party is fun and exciting for both girls and boys. So to add to the hype of this awesome event, what better then a glowing summer party invitations. These invitations are quite easy and is absolutely fun! With just a little elbow grease you will have the best invitations to add to the best backyard camping party ever! Type: Easy and great for the whole family to make! Recommended age level: 7 and up Supplies: - Black cardstock paper
- Florescent green, yellow and pink paper (or any paper that is florescent)
- Neon gel pens or pencils
- Florescent stickers of butterflies, bugs or birds
- Bright yellow ribbon (or your favorite bright neon like ribbon)
What to do: - First take your black cardstock paper and fold it in half, like a card shape
- Then on the edges of the card you can trim or make cool waves with your scissors or shaped scissors
- For the face of your card, take your pink florescent paper and create some fun camping shapes
- These could be of a: moon, stars, and or the shape of a fire
- On the shape you choose, this is where you will write: You're Invited! or Back Yard Campout!
- To jazz up the cover, this is where you will add your florescent stickers, bugs, butterflies or birds
- Then use up the rest or make more florescent shapes to decorate the inside on the card
- When done your decoration of the summer party invitations add the details of location, time, date and RSVP information.

You can pitch a tent anywhere in your home, make some indoor smores and turn on your flashlights. The best indoor camping party is about to happen! Here is a great summer party invitation you can make, create and send out! What better summer party invitations then a tent shaped one. So, let's get cracking on making the best invite ever! Type: Easy and fun for the whole family Recommended age level: 7 and up Supplies: - Red cardstock paper (this will be the tent)
- White construction or designed paper (this will be the inside of the tent where the details of the party will go)
- Cutouts or stickers of a: Lantern, sleeping bag, bugs, and butterflies
- Glue
- Scissors
What to do: - Take your cardstock paper and fold in half, crease it well
- Now you have a rectangular shaped piece of paper
- Your card will be made to be long, not a door shaped
- Take your scissors and cut up 1 side of the card, right up the middle to meet the crease, the other side should be normal still
- Now, take both corners, and flip and fold on either side (these will be the doors to your tent)
- When that is done take your scissors and cut and triangle size of each corner
- Now take you white construction paper and glue in on the inside of the tent
- Glue the both sides together
- Jazz it all up with your lanterns, sleeping bags and butterflies
- Now that your done the summer party invitations, you are ready to add you details: location, time, date and RSVP information.
