If you decide to go with the table cloth, simply cut a long strip to resemble a long carpet runner.

Secure the runner with green painters tape or a rubber carpet stopper.  This way the carpet will stay put through out the party.

I use green painters tape since it is safe for most surfaces and won't ruin or leave a film stuck to your floors.

When that is done grab some star cut outs.  You can grab them already cut out from your local party store or if you have time to spare, simply make your own. 

You can make your  teen Hollywood party theme walk of fame with black Bristol board.  Simply:

1. Make a star shape with a pencil over the Bristol board
2. Cut this one out, so this will now be your stencil for the remaining stars
3. Now custom each star with names of guests that are invited
4. Then stick them on your red carpet

To add more glam, take out the white Christmas lights and hang them around the party area, food area, photo area and/ or movie area.
