Water Balloon Games made Fun, Easy and Entertaining!

So what better then celebrating outside! When choosing a game for your child it is a great idea to prepare all games the..... This will save you time and energy for the special day. Here is a list of games to add to your little ones perfect party! 
Photo Courtesy of The Little Lady Water Balloon VolleyballType: Easy, Fun and get ready to get wet! Object: Don't Burst the Balloon You will need: - Volleyball net
- 20 water balloons (depending on number of kids)
- Ready to play kids
What to do: - Put the kids in pairs of two and have them line up close on both sides of the net
- Then get them to toss the ball to each other
- After each toss they must take one step back after each toss
- The pair that bursts their balloon first is out.
The team that comes last is the winner of the water balloon game. The kids will sure love this one! Water Balloon RaceType: Easy and Fun Water Balloon Game Object: Don't drop the Balloon You will need: - About 30 large (size of birthday party balloons) water balloons
- Grab about 4 serving circular trays from your local dollar store
- 4 pylons or flag or any thing to create a turning point
What to do: - Put the kids in groups of four (depending on number of kids)
- Have them all line up
- Give each one a balloon, so they all have a chance to play
- The ones in front go first. They must carry their large water balloon on their serving tray then.....
- Walk as fast as they can to the pylon with out dropping their balloon
- Turn at the pylon
- And then the next partner in line goes
- The group with the most surviving balloons WINS!!!
Tip: If there is a tie then do a face off to see who the winner is! A face off is when a team is tied. Get the kids to race against each other to determine the winner. Or you can give a prize to both winners! Turn up your music to get the kids going. These water balloon games will be a hit! Water Balloon Dodge BallHow many players: Great for a Group Balloon Game! Object: Not to get hit by the Water Balloon Type: Easy and Fun! Supplies: - Music to build excitement
- 20 water balloons for each team, so a total of 40 water balloons
- And all the ready to party kids
What to do: - Play like as if you are playing regular dodge ball
- Then divide all the kids into a group of two
- Make a border line. You can use rope or bright colored tape
- Then flip a coin to see what team goes first
- Then catch or dodge and try not to get OUT or I should say wet!
- Think of the game as a war like game and the back yard is the battle field
- When a player get hit he/she is out
- If the other team catches the water balloon you are out
- If a player hits the other team above the shoulders then he/she that threw it is out
- Keep playing the game until the other team is eliminated!
Safety Tip: - Let the balloon come to you don't go running to it, you might slip or get hit the wrong way
- Stay focused! If you turn to talk the balloon might unexpectedly hit you the wrong way
Play Safe and Have Fun with the great water balloon games! Ticking Time BombHow many players: 2+ (Individual or groups) Object: For the players to sit on the balloon but don't break it Type: Easy, Fun and Exciting! Supplies: - Extra large water balloons (1 balloon per player)

What to do: - Before your party fill an extra large balloon per player
- Have all the kids stand in front of their balloon
- Play some fun music and explain the object of the game
- This way the kids won't jump or hop on the balloon and will try not to break it
- As the kids sit on the balloon they also have to raise their legs slowly but all at the same time
- The last one that didn't break their balloon wins!!
Safely Tip: Play this game on a soft area or on grass, since the object involves the kids sitting on the balloon Tip: The extra large balloon will be heavy, so fill them where the game will be held outside. Fill them at least and about 2 feet high, not too high up. Wet VolleyballType: Easy, Fun and great for a group! Object: To get wet on those Hot days You will need: - Volleyball net or net similar

What to do: Play the water balloon game as you would to regular volleyball. Tip: Love volleyball? We do too! Playing volleyball is great when you have lots of kids. To add a little party action to your game, put a sprinkler in the middle of the net. This will create fun and excitement and the kids will be entertained and cool through out your hot summer party. Pass the Water Balloon Type: Easy, Fun and great for a group! Object: Don't pop or get caught with the water balloon Supplies: - 1 Water Balloon

- Prize, ribbon, treat (for the winner)
- Excited kids
What to do: - Have the kids all stand or sit in a circle
- Turn up the music
- Have the kids pass the balloon around the circle
- When the music stops or the balloon burst the one holding it is out
- Continue until there is one left. He/ she is the winner!
Tip: When preparing for the water balloon game, grab a large tub and fill it with the water balloons. This will save you time and you will be able to enjoy the party with the kiddies.
